Zach is an experienced manager, skilled in scheduling, value engineering and customer service. These attributes come courtesy of a 16 year industrial construction career, of which the last 8 were spent as a Corporate Manager with a Fortune 500 Company in Raleigh, NC. He is a seasoned professional in the construction and service industries holding several licenses and certifications. Zach is a AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and a qualifier for mechanical and General Contractor licenses in Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina. A native of the High Country, Zach was born and raised in Boone. He attended Hardin Park Elementary, Watauga High School and graduated from Appalachian State in 2003 with a degree in Construction Management and Business. Zach’s career with Mountaineer Maintenance began part-time in 2018 and we were excited he has joined our team in a full-time role as our Operations Manager. When Zach is not working you can find him spending quality time with his wife Sarah and son Calvin. He also enjoys time with friends and family in the great outdoors hunting and fishing.
